+1, and I am thrilled that Spanberger is the Dem nominee. A steady moderate hand that will keep the state moving in a positive direction. |
Yes, I am hopeful that she will veto some of the crazy policies from her own party if she gets elected. She is more moderate than than most politicians now and is one of the few people remaining in congress that are not partisan nut jobs at this point. She has a history of voting differently than the rest of her party when they are not being reasonable or reflecting the views of her constituents. |
“Siding with teachers” is a mistake? I’m still shocked at the animosity towards teachers. WTAF? |
Because Republicans support picnic schools? No. Youngkin tried to slash funding but was held in check by Ds in the General Assembly. |
^public schools |
I don’t disagree with this, but Youngkin should have legislated as a moderate, abandoned any national aspirations and realized he wasn’t elected on much more than parent discontent with Covid school closings. My only point is that if the republicans nominate Sears or another whack job they will be routed in the next election…Youngkin didn’t recruit a bench or realize VA actually has a pretty moderate overall populace. |
Youngkin has been moderate. I would guess Sears would be too if elected. I think they are very aware of VA's political climate. |
Sears is a MAGA, she would not moderate her politics. |
He has been forced to be moderate by the legislature. Again…where’s the bench? Sears is a disaster. Go ahead and nominate her. |
Sears looks like a gremlin |
It doesn’t matter if is she’s a moderate or not unless there is a Republican trifecta. She will just veto the crazy democratic policy ideas that don’t have bipartisan support. I’m ok with that. VA makes better policy decisions when there is split control between parties. |
You clearly don't know how VA works and it shows. |
She mad ugo bruh, I would not tap that |
