Advanced Academic Programs (AAP)
Agree, but I assume some/most follow the law about political campaigns. At least on the surface. This is blatant disregard for the law. |
His Lt. Governor admitted to blackface - on several occasions. But, that’s consistent with all the democrats who resisted (often violently) integration throughout the civil rights struggles of the 50, 60s, and 70s. Guess lots of racists still remain in the dem party. |
Agree. Get your specific point now. There absolutely should be separation of church and state and should come with a cost if not followed. |
The white nationalists sure seem to love him. "his win is a victory for our ideas"

They.... posted the list on Facebook.... quite publicly... But in fairness, it was only 28% of the incoming class, not 30+%. And the flagship TJ prep course only cost $5K. If you want to know who started the rumor, it was Curie themselves. It was only later that TJ kids in the relevant classes confirmed (again, publicly and using their own names which were on the lists) having seen a few questions that were on the exam in their classes at Curie. Not illegal, but definitely a huge gap in the admissions process that needed to be solved. |
Democrats actually did not defend Northam en masse. Most appropriately called for his resignation. To this day I'm not sure why he didn't |
His LG was Black, dummy. His name was Justin Fairfax, and he had his own issues. |
I doubt 28% of the incoming class that year actually came from Curie. They posted the names of the kids offered admission. Some of those kids may have been rejected initially and later picked from the waitlist. Many of those same kids were LCPS residents who also were admitted to AET or AOS. The kids can't physically attend all 3 schools, and I would imagine that a decent number of kids who are admitted to both TJ and AET/AOS would chose the AET/AOS option. Busing to TJ all the way from Loudoun would be miserable. The new system still resulted in a lot of Curie kids getting admitted. It's honestly not surprising. They're mostly consuming the LCPS TJ spots, and they're probably the only ones there who value TJ enough to even bother with the long commute. The Curie kids are also most likely fantastic students with high GPAs. |
The rapist you defended?? Totally different; yeah - he’s fine. No problem with rape (at least if you vote dem). But yes, it was his AG who was into repeated blackface. You voted him in and defended him too. Two racists and a rapist; all democrats, and none of them resigned. Yet you keep making up lies and smears that somehow Youngkin is supposedly a racist? Seriously ?? |

Go to a Korean church and see it for yourself! |
+1 East Asian mom here. I couldn't have said better myself. |
The problem of prep is all-pervasive and has been going on forever. Tell me one area where there's no prep. Every test is preppable and someone will crack the code. |
| Why don't they just increase enrollment at TJ? Or have another similar program the way Montgomery County has two? Why does a Governor's school have to be so small? |
It sounds like you think there's only one person on these fora who are in favor of TJ reform. It also sounds like you think anyone who is in favor of TJ reform is a Democrat. Neither are true. When you're being a jerk, I'm going to call out your egregious errors in a mean way. Stop being a jerk and you might not get punished. |
