There are several popular ones but there was the one that posted the names of 30%+ of the incoming TJ class that had taken their $10k prep classes a few years ago. I think some people felt bad when they realized people were simply buying admissions.

TJ admission has always been holistic. The prep center kids still needed high GPAs, rigorous course loads, good letters of recommendation from their teachers, and compelling essays to get selected. They were hardly "buying admissions."

I seriously doubt this. A lot of Asian parents talked about this but very few actually voted for him (at least in our circle of Indian friends). We are more anti-Trump than worried about the school board nonsense. We do plan on paying more attention to the school board elections when that happens to make sure there's a focus on education.

The anti-dem wave was all driven by white women. Most were turned off by masking and school closures during the pandemic (which literally all Asians support) as well as the perception of CRT education (which Asians really don't give a sh*t about, one way or the other). Besides, white women never fail to vote for a good looking man - Black or White.

Both of you are idiots. A kid cannot just stay in this country for education without a proper visa (or illegally). Such kids are limited to 12 months. Do some research. The only "foreign" kids allowed to attend school are the children of workers on a valid visa and yes, they ARE entitled to public education since their parents pay taxes.

More than likely these are kids who were born here, moved to China and are now back to the US to go to school. Some just return to go to college.
