Fox News—Meghan just did a paid gig for Chase event in South Beach:
“Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made their first public appearance since shaking up Britain's royal family in a move dubbed "Megxit" last month. The couple, who have since embarked on a life independent from their senior royal duties and are living part-time in Canada, were the keynote speakers at an exclusive JPMorgan Chase event in Miami, according to multiple reports. “ The couple traveled to the posh 1 Hotel in Miami's South Beach for the event, sources familiar with the matter told The New York Post. How much they were paid for headlining it, which would help with their goal of becoming financially independent, was unknown. "It was all very hush-hush, with a lot of security. Meghan and Harry headlined the event as the keynote speakers, " a source told Page Six. |
| What on earth could they offer at a private chase event? |
https://pagesix.com/2020/02/07/prince-harry-and-meghan-markle-make-first-public-appearance-since-megxit/ they have been offered through one of Meghan's friends a place to stay on 'billionaire's beach'. |
Proximity to royals. |
Came here to ask the same. I wish these lovebirds well in their future trying to save African wildlife and selling branded cookware, but what could they possibly talk about to a private room of JPMorgan people? |
Billionaire’s Beach is in Malibu. |
They’re not real royals anymore. The glow is off. Even then, what on earth could they possible offer content-wise in keynote speeches at an event like this. Embarrassing. |
You’re the only one “embarrassed.” |
|
She could give this speech over and over for $100,000 per. My organization would reach out to her.
Starts at around 2:45. |
This. The people jealous JP Morgan Chase hired them - this is only the beginning. Guess you’re staring to realize that they can bring in $10 million a year easy now right? |
I don't know if jealousy is the correct word. More like satisfaction that they were right. And Meghan and Harry's stepping down is mainly driven by greed rather than a desire for service or to do good or even privacy. This is a form of parasites. Being paid a lot of money for no apparent wisdom but simply because you're an ex-royal. They're not offering any special knowledge or information. It's part of a corrupt system of patronage in its way. At least as working royals they had the virtue of charities and acting as a symbol of the British state. But they no longer have that excuse and their life is just a slightly less vulgar version of the Kardashians. I don't begrudge them any wealth they may achieve but it's now abundantly clear their claimed reasons for stepping down had far less to do with privacy but more to do with greed and abusing their old royal statuses. |
Love the part in the speech when she says the world needs more incredible men like her father
I suppose there are some of you who are willing to pay millions to watch a Hallmark movie live. |
| ^^the egg on your face is hilarious. |
These are ultra wealthy folks have dinner at the club sponsored by their asset manager J.P. Morgan. The Sussex's are the entertainment for the evening. |
It’s all the Chase organizers could come up with. The bar is not high. |
