People has always been her mouthpiece of choice so I don’t believe anything they print since it’s all clearly direct from MM’s PR team. Will be interesting to see if they show up to the Oscars this year since they claim to want privacy and have nothing to promote there—except for themselves.

Why does wanting privacy to have to equal never being seen in public again? Some of you are just ridiculous with the extremes. They can want privacy, and less nastiness from the press and STILL go to high profile events. They didn't say that they desire to live a cloistered life.

So...they’re unemployed and privileged and have security that other people pay for.

They won’t have the royal duties that Will and Kate do, not even a fraction. How will they pay for their lavish, lazy lifestyle?

One of the ways that American celebrities have killed the US tabloids is by going directly to their fans through social media. If celebrities are sharing whatever daily activities on Instagram then there are no more juicy exclusives. By bombarding social media with information that they put out, celebrities dampen the desire for more information from their fans which in turn knocks out the tabloids ability to sell whatever they want to make up.

The Royal Rota and tabloid's relationships with staffers in the BRF props up the tabloids. If I hated the tabloids I'd want to find a way not to help them too.
