This is what I have been thinking. Wint and others as muscle for some business/industry rival. That it wasn't about getting $ -why kill them after receiving the $. That it was personal against the father and maybe grandfather. Does the crime have any hallmarks of Chinese or Russian or other gangs?

I think,that's why there haven't been other arrests -- they want the big fish.

Sorry--did not mean to imply you can't have an opinion at all--it's just that emotions can run high on this thread and just that threats and accusations about 'exposure' and competence and so on particularly about judges, Article III judges--just to be careful--posters are walking a very thin line with their comments.

Does anyone want to comment on the appropriateness of the 20/20 show last night (other than being good business for ABC)? Speculate on whether it will prove to help to root out who else was involved? Provoke potential leads? Help LE?

If we can trust the reporting, there was very little new information (yatch and plane, IMO who cares) -- VF's husband works night shift. And we'd already read about the experience Blaylock had.

The tone was IMO very sensational. Probably everyone who follows this forum and others on this topic were watching but we've already heard everything that's been made public. I was upset they kept showing the family photos with the girls. Even though they are the same photos you can find through Google, it felt like a violation of their privacy. I hope they were sheltered and didn't watch. I also hope LS boys at STA didn't see it either.

But perhaps there was value in compiling and summarizing everything that's come out over the last month. Perhaps someone close to the others involved will be motivated to act -- perhaps they will be struck with emotion -- this was a real family, human beings in relationships, good people, parents and a little boy, a horrific crime was committed. Perhaps it will cause someone to come forward or turn in an accomplice. Only time will tell.

I think a lot of the discussion--or at least the interest in the discussion--has moved to the websleuths web site, which appears to have lots of people who more seriously focus on this kind of armchair detective work. And without the DCUM distracting elements of snarkiness that can sometimes emerge.
Second, there's endless speculation on the driver, but really nothing new to go on, just lots of back and forth speculation on "JW" and potential involvement. For my part I am losing interest in the discussion due to the lack of any real updates and am hoping that law enforcement will soon reveal more of what they know.

I switched to WS because I was tired of rudeness on this site. Just checked back this afternoon wondering what people might say about 20/20. I am anxious for some revelations from LE, too. While I trust LE to be waiting until they have everything to build an air tight case against all involved, the additional perpetrators of this most heinous crime are out among us, and that's a friegthening thought even if they are under survalience.

I am also really frustrated with the lack of updates..the baseball bat was found no doubt within 5 hours of looking for weapon. I am a bit interested in the plane...the ranch...the cars...martial Arts studio??? Go karting???? In Las Vegas???? Especially when the founder of the company lives so conservatively...yet the son has all these unusual toys/ hobbies/ situations when all put together..and...a Carribean residence and it does make me rather wonder..... So you think you have the right to threaten a judge or a lawyer because you don't like what they've done in their official capacities, i.e. sentencing or prosecution--specifically a federal judge or federal prosecutor?
