Umm that is a form letter. You don't honestly think they read your email and sent that to you do you? |
We received the same form letter. Here are the other parts of it--definitely advertising. Clearly went to people who had filled out the "I'm Interested" form on the website. Dear Washington Spirit Virginia Development Academy Interest Group, We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in the Washington Spirit Virginia Development Academy. can anyone define "viable professional pathway"? |
Read the PP will you. First time "contacted." Clearly a form letter that included EVERYONE for the 1st time, as registered months ago and did NOT send them an email as you suggested. They clearly contacted target registrants for some time, and are now even sending out FYIs to the whole VA registrant pool. Not difficult to understand the point. |
It is still a form letter. You fill out a form and this is the response based on filling out a form. This is still automated, THAT is the point. But I suppose you also get excited when you get a phone call telling you that you've won a free weekend for two at our exclusive resort. But I see how clever you are, you signed up a rising U12 as rising U14 because you clicked U14. The computer saw U14 and sent email. |
Don't listen to them. A bunch of haters. Bring your 06 up there (PS..That's not a form letter...your 06 was probably scouted). ![]() |
Pretty sure if the 06 was scouted they would not have received a form letter, which many of us received. They would have probably gotten a phone call or more personalized email about the invite... |
One word: clueless.
They have sent out targeted form letters to the age groups at issue for DA. We have friends who got them. We never did. We registered in our proper 06 age group MONTHS ago; this was not for an ID session as some have, again, cluelessly surmised. Point, a sarcastic one, was that they clearly are sending their form letters out to a larger group that is not even the target audience, as maybe they need some 06s to fill the numbers at their empty ID sessions. It's a joke, people. PRETTY CLUELESS, folks. |
OMG it is a promotional/informational form letter. That is all. I signed up for the Sunday tryout and got the same damn thing. I've signed up for the interested email and got similar then too. |
When did the OP say he sent an email? I thought he completed some interest form and this is what he received. He knows his daughter is an 06 and probably wouldn't be selected by wanted to attend tryouts anyway. Since this forum has had a lot to with Spirit DA, he figured he would share. Why do you feel you need to someone down to feel better? Regardless of what you may think, the poster has contributed more to the conversation than you have. |
