All teams from the Nortwest are terrible. They're also isolated. Most likely GA is trying to create a local league so players dont have to fly to California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado for league games.

So ga and the hats sell that its an elite league and then take bottom level clubs lime this.its quite amazing when you think about it. And the hats think that an ecnl is desperate to jump ship to ga and play these type teams?

I think the funny part in all this is that if your kids clubs sucks in ECNL, your team will most likely suck in GA.

All those clubs that left GA (PAC NW) - sucked in ECNL, sucked in GA, and will now go back to sucking in RL.

When you all realize that the club matters more than the league…

Well, I suppose it can go both ways. MLS next club just joined ECNL boys after being long time MLS. The article in New England Soccer said it was due to MLS restrictions on HS Soccer (which is big in CT due to the boarding schools) distances to games (300 miles for a league game), and the waiver process...I don't think many will follow suit, but you never know especially with the school year issue.

It's really because MLSNext told them to hit the road because of repeated poor performance and club leadership instability and uncertainty. They didn't choose to leave MLSNext, they just had no choice.

I think if STA were leaving GA, Their tryouts would’ve not had the leagues. Just my opinions

The Soccer Chance 2013 team did have an +80 goal differential after 12 games in Aspire. So you could argue they "proved potential" within GA's tiered system. Combined with the 4 new open spots from Oregon clubs leaving, it makes some sense. And they probably don't rank as highly since they were stuck playing Aspire teams all year...

Maybe… I would say most clubs don’t change anything and carry on as business as usual until the deal is final.
Which it obviously is not yet or ECNL would be posting.

Which of these clubs have not posted anything about tryouts?

HTX with no mention of girls academy on their Instagram — in regards to tryouts

I am sorry but I just understand the ga's thinking. you try to tough yourself as an elite league, top girls league in the nation. clubs promote it as the best league in the country and then your additions are really bad clubs. even the perception is just off with these new teams. its getting too watered down.
