Any GA club offered ECNL would take it. And all the GA parents of that club who say ECNL isn’t that great would then start buying the ECNL hats.

GA clubs would most certainly accept a no strings offer to go straight ECNL. The problem is the strings…. The top GA clubs don’t want to park it in RL with no guarantee that they’d get promoted or lose a significant amount of players.
