100%. If my kid were playing the top of the IAAM or ISL, she'd be nowhere near 50% on 8m. But, she's not playing even close to that level. When she gets to college, she still probably won't see shooters like Reese or Rassas, but it will be a big bump in quality and doubtful she'll keep the same save rate on 8m shots. Hoping that this will be balanced by better defense increasing her save percentage on other shots.

No one is going to convince this guy he's wrong. I'm sure when they play Lake Braddock or Chantilly, those numbers will come down.

A goalie Dad who is keeping stats of his public school goalie who loves 8 meters because she plays against low level talent. It isn’t a tough role if you sit back and just enjoy watching your daughter. Clearly this Dad doesn’t and is having trouble grasping the difference between 8 meters against talented players and players who can’t hit an open goal. Good for his daughter that she loves playing a tough position at a level that she thrives. Commenting about how she loves 8 meters when his daughter doesn’t face truly talented players shows the dad doesn’t understand the game.

Understand it just fine, thanks. She picked her school (not public) for purely academic reasons. You get the schedule you get.

She went to SSSAS… She was a welcomed addition to the program and will thrive there as long as doesn’t force shots makes smart plays and feeds fast to get the ball to cutters by not hanging on the the ball too long.
