We worked our asses off during those 2 summers.
We were very busy all summer long and served everyone from tourists staying at nearby hotels, to baseball teams, swim teams, soccer teams, birthday parties. It was a very demanding job. To now act as if none of that ever happened is very pretentious of her. All she does now at work is sit in front of a computer all day. We were both at the bottom of the barrel once. Our boss (the owner) was a major asshole at times. |
| I hope you're joking. |

Ice cream cakes are still the greatest!
I do not have a LinkedIn but if I did I would proudly include my Baskin Robbins employment on my resume. |
No I am not. I am very proud to have lasted both summers there. Many people would quit after only 2 or 3 days. It was that demanding. |
| While I don't believe it, I'll play. How old are you? |
You sound like perfect material to join the Marines. Consider it. Great pay, great career, and your work experience will vow them. |
I don't doubt that it was demanding. But it's probably not relevant to her current career. Doesn't mean she's not proud of her time there, just that it's not something that needs to be on her resume. |

20 soccer teams (along with their parents) came in one day after a soccer tournament.
Only 3 of us were behind the counter. To say we had to multi task that day is an under statement. It was hell. |
Very relevant for a job at McDonald's. But I don't think they hire via LinkedIn, do they? |

I would love to open my very own BR franchise.
Not in DC (too expensive) but maybe somewhere down south where the store rents are lower. |
We did a hell of a lot more than just scoop ice cream all day. If you only knew. |
I'm not joking. Contact the Marines. |
| OP, you are taking this as a personal affront. The question is why? |
It was in 1979 and 1980. But many of the skills acquired are still very useful in the broader service sector. |
| She can put whatever she wants on her resume. She can also leave off whatever she wants just like the rest of us. |
