It was in 1979 and 1980. But many of the skills acquired are still very useful in the broader service sector.

You are LYING because I am the OP and it happened in the late 1990s.

I like to think of it as joking rather than lying, but i have to admit, if it was in the 1990s that is almost as good!

Oh no, that's VERY different. Whatever random summer job someone had ONLY TWENTY YEARS AGO is very relevant to her performance today.

What else is she hiding?

In 1987 she stole a twix from a 7/11. Her mother found out about it, and made her return it, but still, a crime was committed, and potential employers have the right to know.

TWO crimes were committed -- can you prosecute her mom for not reporting the crime over to the police?

Anonymous wrote:How odd.

1) You don't put HS jobs on your resume, unless you are 19 yrs old and it's the only experience you have.

2) You don't put jobs from 30 yrs ago on your resume, unless you're still doing them!

Seriously, who the f*** puts HS summer jobs on their resume after they graduate from college? OP has got to be a troll, right? Right?

OP - what are you doing with your life now that two summers working at Baskin Robbins in the 90s is still relevant?

Do you include it on your resume? If you do, what type of job do you currently have?
Anonymous
Um, I'm pretty sure that if I saw that someone put BR experience from 1980 on LinkedIn, It would make them look like a total loon. Thus guaranteeing they would NOT get a job from a prospective employer.

You're a troll. But at least you're entertaining.

Oh God. I feel like such a fraud. I just now realized that I forgot to include my high school chocolate factory experience (a year and half after school! Brutal!) on my post-DOJ resume, and here I've been shopping it around. F.

I heard that she plagiarized major parts of her LinkedIn profile from Michelle Obama

OP, did you pass over the fact that her profile photo was glamorized?

As an employment attorney, I feel my opinion is entitled to considerable weight so I hope my post will be read carefully by others. Thank you.

Was this a franchise or a wholly-owned Baskin-Robbins? This information is crucial.

I think it would most likely be irrelevant information. I can't imagine it disqualifying a job candidate.

It would be more of a fun fact about them.
