My friend did not include our 2 summers working at Baskin Robbins during HS on her LinkedIn profile

I am not following here.....

Is there a question somewhere in here that went over & out my head.....??!.....Or is this a vent?

If it's the former please clarify better for me.
If it is the latter then don't worry about it so much.

Let her do her and you do YOU.
But in all honesty, you do not sound like a genuine friend if something like this gets to you.
You may want to consider this......

We were very busy all summer long and served everyone from tourists staying at nearby hotels, to baseball teams, swim teams, soccer teams, birthday parties.
It was a very demanding job.
To now act as if none of that ever happened is very pretentious of her.
All she does now at work is sit in front of a computer all day.
We were both at the bottom of the barrel once.
Our boss (the owner) was a major asshole at times.

THAT PRETENTIOUS SOCIAL CLIMBING CUNT

get over yourself op

I was the fry cook at a high volume Hot Shoppes in high school and have the burn scars to prove it. You get into a rhythm and do it.

Quick history:
- I worked at a Mom and Pop grocery store in the mid 90s. The store was later put out of business by Walmart. I feel this might be vital information, and a nice talking point during the interview process. Thoughts?
- Another point is that I still have most produce codes memorized (4011 - bananas, 4062 - cucumbers), even though I haven't worked there in 20 years. Should I move this skill to the top of my resume? Maybe in a Career Highlights section? If you do think I should include it, will I get dinged for not keeping up to date with new codes. I'm totally lost on organic codes.

I think you should try to get a part time job at Whole Foods so you can learn the organic codes. It would show potential employers that you are always updating your skills.

Confession: in a brief moment of nostalgia I created a FB page for my high school job at an amusement park.
It ballooned in popularity, people made memes and posted it there, long stories and memories were written and "liked" and commented on for days, pictures came out of boxes in the basement and were scanned and posted.
The owner who is now 80 actually figured out how to log in and see it, and it was adorable with him telling us how proud he was of all of us. Tears!
It was insane.

It's a private group of course! Highlights included confession of making out in the supply closet (apparently it was a dare?), stealing some Nerds and Laffy Taffy, and one really funny story about having to ask a manager to interpret someone we thought was speaking a different language but turned out to be really hardcore Ebonics type language (we were suburban white kids, could not understand "yo shortay dat be fiddy cent?" meant he wanted to know if the prize was 50 cents)

his thread has helped me look at my career trajectory with new eyes.

Fact: I was employee of the month at Forever 21 (one summer job) due to my skill at restocking and organizing tiny trashy articles of clothing by color and style.

Now that I have an advanced degree and have worked in research for several years, I'm realizing that I should be highlighting this early career award and accomplishment...because research really boils down to the ability to look at and categorize stuff.

But you were way more HOTTER back then than you are now.

Ha actually I look pretty much the same. With a few lines under the eyes now because of all my researching.

To the PP who referenced Jamocha Almond Fudge...that is my favorite BR flavor. I got it every time for probably 10+ years. Best coffee ice cream spin off for sure.
