Yep. Before this news broke there was rumors that she was courting, but no official annoucements.

Jill’s husband and Jinger’s husband each graduated from a four year college. Jill’s husband is currently in law school. John’s wife has her LPN. Jessa’s husband is currently attending community college. I don’t know about the rest of them.

In America, we go to college, not to university.

The evangelicals I know encourage their kids not to go to college and learn a trade instead, or do sales. Women don't need an education if all they will be doing is having kids--at least it's what they seemed to think. I think they know that if their kids are exposed to others or new ideas, they may not be evangelicals any more.

I think she just didn’t want to have a gazillion kids with a guy she likely barely knew. Maybe better to stay at home single longer vs. get married at 19 and have kids right away.

Garden variety evangelicals and conservative Christians are perfectly fine with education. I grew up in small town Ohio with lots of conservatives and the vast majority of my graduating class went to college, as did students from the local religious HS’s. There’s plenty of religious conservatives out there who are perfectly ok with college for both sons and daughters. But the Duggars aren’t just “Christian Conservatives” or “evangelicals.” They are fundamentalists. Then you have the added cult-like/pseudo-religion ATI on top of that, and they are actively hostile to education. People who want full membership in ATI homeschool their kids from ATI’s materials and that in no way even prepares a kid for college. I think most of the Duggars “graduated high school” around age 16 and probably had a 9th grade education at best.

He already cheated on her, yet she stood by him and is now pregnant w/the couple’s seventh child!!

People like him should never be around children!!
His wife ruined herself by investing so much time with this rat.
He likely will never step foot outside a jail cell thus she will be raising seven kids alone.
With zero monetary support.

He likely will not be allowed to ever speak to his kids again either.
And with seven children it will be almost impossible for his wife to remarry.

But I have no sympathy for her.
She should have left after he cheated on her publicly.

Anna HAD to know this. At the very least, when she was told at the end, she decided to stick by her man: she accompanied him when he turned himself in the other day.

I hope that if the kids are removed from Anna, they don't go to another Duggar.

Sex offenders are still employable. Check out the sex offender registry for your area and see where they work near you. I did a couple years ago and noticed a LOT of sex offenders were registered as working at an address a few miles from me. Specifically, most were charged with cp. It's a food distribution warehouse.

No, her youngest is a year and a half, she will be a little under 2 when the new baby comes. Not that it manners.

I think PP saw the same article/photo I did that stated the baby was five months. But I later realized the baby is older and it must have just been the baby’s age at the time the photo was taken. But I understand her confusion.
