What is the most overrated school popular among the dc metro area crowd?

If anything UVA is underrated and overpriced privates outside of the top 10 are overrated. Imagine justifying paying 50k+ In tuition alone. LOL SAD

UVA is overrated as a top public university. It has no business being mentioned in the same breath as Berkeley, UCLA, and Michigan. It’s simply uniformly strong across the full spectrum of disciplines as the above schools. It is losing ground to other universities such as Florida, UNC, and Texas. It is not a top 25 university, so it can’t possibly be overrated.

UVA boosters are virulently rabid, incredibly condescending, and high-key annoying, which lowers many people's opinion of the school itself. If its grads and boosters were less foolishly arrogant, denigrating schools it mistakenly believes to be beneath it, we'd be singing a different tune.

People get so mad over uva and its prestige. The jealousy is so potent and in attempts to bring down uva they actually just expose themselves even more.

Seriously. Rest of the world thinks of UVA is just another state school, akin to the University of Georgias and Penn States of the world. UVA boosters will aggressively claim that it's better than any private school in the country save for half of the Ivies, and belittle all who disagree with them in the same breath. Very odd behavior.
