Yeah it’s still kind of sucky. |
I don't think they are seen as a big risk, they keep on saying outdoor is safer than indoor, and chlorine kills the virus. Its that they have someone writing the pool rules who knows nothing about pools and only listens to commercial entities. |
| For those of you who claim your pool is opening with a broad interpretation of 'exercise' in Phase 2- what are you doing about the 10 foot requirement? Also, have any of you put plans/ letter to members etc on a website where I could copy it for our plan? |
| So great wolf lodge must have been told they will be in phase three next Friday. |
their website says 'Now opening on June 30th' ' |

It’s interesting to see the paths other states are taking. It will be interesting to see what NJ allows.

really? huh. I wonder what happened. |
| Busch Gardens and Water Country are still showing opening on 6/25. |
If you call around to the swim or dive reps they will happily share |
| It will be interesting to see if a family can be more than 4 to a lane since we are family. If two kids hung out in the deep end playing and mom and dad in the shallow end. |
Nope. this is the inanity that is the Phase 2 regulations. In Olivia McCormick's world everyone has to be 10 feet apart in the pool, even if they are related. She insists on that because she thinks the 'business community' requested this. I have heard her make this proclamation on multiple ocassions. |
And it’s limited to three, 10’ apart. Go figure. You can hold your child in your lap and kiss his cheek AFTER you get out of the water. |
It pisses me off. There is no recreational swimming in phase 2. Yet here we are having people skirt the rules. |
I just want to recreational swim with my family in a lane.
If you don’t feel comfortable yet then don’t go. Wait and see how it plays out in a few weeks. Any pool will still have a lap lane if you just want to swim laps. |
| Whoever wrote those restrictions is insane. Our community pool decided the restrictions were basically too much to resonably enforce and so they are closed. I agree it should be just don't go if you don't feel comfortable doing so. It's just absurd that my 4 year old can go mingle all day at a daycare but not splash around in a pool for an hour. |
