Most suits are dropped. Too much money to pursue unless gov is taking action.
|
Where do you see they’re dropped? One is open and one has ordered NM to pay. |
|
Sounds like GFR is in need of some financial transparency. As a 501c, the records shouldn't be too hard to come by? Is someone taking on the responsibility to request and review? |
Should be available to public
|
Yes, a few people have requested and reviewed and there is nothing there. |
I have a daughter that plays rec soccer and this make me not want her playing this sport at all. No kids coach should be getting paid at all. Maybe a couple hundred bucks a month but the numbers being discussed are disgusting. Parents that spend this kind of money have real mental issues. |
For the love of the game? |
You're not wrong with the last sentence especially if you add time to it. |
“Not aware of any intentional mismanagement” reads like a depo-prepped witness. |
professional, licensed coaches shouldn't get paid to coach youth sports? most coaches get about $15k/year per team. that is for roughly 5 hours a week - more some weeks, less others. that seems like a very reasonable part time job salary, |
+1 PP’s statement is ridiculous. |
5 hours per week seems low. |
probably an average. 10 hours during busy times of the season, a month off in the winter.....but yea, it's not a *disgusting* amount of money. |

Has anyone seen this petition that’s calling for transparency from the club? Feel like this could be a chance to push for the information we’ve been trying to have from the beginning. |
