Godless libs? This is not a theocracy—yet. Americans are allowed to have different religions—or none at all. Whether or not he is a “devout Christian” has nothing to do with his qualifications for this job. |
he can have any tattoos he wants. Got it? That's not important to me. He's outside the Pentagon. That is important. Where does Lloyd Austin come from? Raytheon. |
Excellent points. |
Only if you like someone who will be clueless and inept. But that’s what Trump voters wanted- to burn it all down. |
Dude literally has a tattoo that commemorates the crusades. He's telling us who he is, kind of like his benefactor. But you do you. |
If that were only true, at least then it would be the plot for a good dystopian novel. But this is all about anger and hate - they care more about owning the libs than what a criminal insurrectionist might do to the republic. |
Good. Keep him away from the nukes. |
Except, many good leaders aren't necessarily the best morally. The reverse is true. J. Carter wasn't a good president, but a heck of a good guy. We would lose half of all politicians. |
What a bunch of a nonsense. It is important for a leader to be of good character. |
It's not. Plus how are you going to prove this good character? What is the measure going to be of that? If they have a record through the courts then yes. The media a clear NO, lol. |
Yes it is. People want to follow someone they respect, not fear. |
He actually can't have any tattoos he wants. And what's important to you couldn't be more irrelevant. Anyway, Trump's the one who will sideline him and replace him with a new candidate (and he'll do that without understanding what's important to you or not). |
Seriously. Raise your standards, America. |
I'm all for holding the Pentagon to account for its budget, but where do you think the equipment that makes our military competitive - that is, a force that other countries don't want to risk attacking - comes from? Like it or not, companies like Raytheon are part of that apparatus. Warfare is way beyond storming the beaches a la Normandy in 1944, no matter how much you wish it to be so. If you want to advocate for more rules regarding former high level military officers serving at companies like Raytheon, that's also worthy of discussion, but this whole idea that some low level/mid level National Guard guy is great because he'll "shake things up" is stupid. I'm unclear how a Fox News talking head is a better affiliation? |
