HR2 was never going to pass the Senate. The laws that the GOP asked for are for the most part, contained in the bi-partisan bill. In a democracy, you give and take. You don't just pick up the marbles and stomp your feet.

So instead of getting 80% of what you wanted, you got nothing and your ire is directed at the democrats?

They all understand that for a president to act within the law to "solve" the border "crisis" a bill like what was presented in the Senate needs to be passed. But they are using "immigration" as a wedge to keep people on the right angry and to "blame Biden" - bottom line, this is ALL political and it is ALL on the GOP.
