What is one question you would like to ask your spouse out of curiosity but won't?

For me, and this is probably ridiculous as we have been married over ten years, when we met he told me that he was getting over someone and didn't know how he would ever get past it. As far as I know, he has not had any communication with her for years (I do not even know her name). But for whatever reason, I am curious as to what happened and why he felt that way as he has always been a relatively confident guy.

"Have you ever slept with your sister?"

They have an uncomfortably close relationship and creep me out!

Who "Crystal" was? Almost 20 years when we were dating, future DH and his best friend were talking and I was standing near not really paying attention. The best friend mentions this Crystal in their conversation and it immediately got quiet and awkward and I look up to see the best friend making an "oh shit" face. Of course I asked what the face was about and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I don't care, it was 20 years ago, but I just want to tell him to come clean, it's been too long to be a big deal and I am already convinced that he had some sort of inappropriate relationship with her.

That's really interesting. So you didn't have any of those pillow talk conversations about past loves?

Why he never married his previous girlfriend. They were together 7 years and she is/ was, as far as I can see, the real deal : from his culture, came from a good / well off family, physically beautiful, super smart, accomplished, athletic, and really nice. I'm smart and cute, but no where in that woman's league.

Why did you let me see your vagina during childbirth?

are you the same poster who keeps bringing this up in various threads?

Maybe you should get some therapy, sounds like you have some deep seated misogynistic issues that you should work on STAT.

Why won't you be intimate with me anyone?

--I've asked this question and tried to get him to talk about it, but he just lets the conversation die or gives me a "I don't know". I want an honest to goodness answer even if it hurts.--

Maybe she wanted someone she thought better suited to her.
Maybe he realized as great as she was she wasn't the best match for him.
Maybe she didn't want to get married.

Why would you marry someone who you suspected of incest?

Maybe you have issues, and a sadly deprived relationship with your siblings that you judge your husband for being close to his sister. Maybe even a little immaturity on your behalf. Do you think he should have 100% of your attention at all times? Are you also threatened by his female coworkers?

If you met me today for the first time, would you think I was pretty?
