DH spent a year in Iraq in psychological operations. When we first started dating (about 3 years after his tour) he told me j could ask anything about it except if he's ever killed someone. I know he has and have always wondered about it.

It used to bug me that he was so closed off about his time there (I understood though) and a couple of years ago he ended up hiring someone who served under him to work at his company. I've learned a lot more about what happened over there, but I doubt I will ever know how many people he killed
