its a big deal if you know the history of tophat/da/ga/ecnl and even if you are another ga club from another part of the country as well. it shows the obvious decline of the ga which is obvious. top teams leaving and average to below average aspire teams are being promoted to ga.

That said, if it turns out to be who everyone is suggesting, it would be a huge blow.

TOPHAT would rather have MLS Next, any noise for them will be a negotiating tool to get that for the boys.

Its interesting that TH doesnt already have MLSN.

The 4 to 5 other teams in their immediate area is what's keeping them out of MLSN

FA is much better than just an Average Aspire team, they were only in Aspire for a year. At the pre 11v11 ages they are consistently at the top of the rankings in NJ. Obviously when they got to 11v11 they players would leave (mostly to MatchFit) because they didn't have a pathway, now they have a national pathway.

FA 2012s were one of the best teams in their AG in the country for many years. Younger years not so much, but it's a solid club.

STA is not even that good of a club. It wouldn’t be a huge blow to GA. Losing Top Hat would be. Interested to see who would leave and why.

With that said, they abuse the rankings app like no other with "fluid" rosters. You never know who you will play when they show up. Especially bad with bringing top kids down to destroy lower level competition.

dude - i was just posting info about the club. They actually aren't that great at U14. They sold their soul to Match-Fit and tried to merge 2 teams and it's not exactly going well. They were one of those top teams you'd see at SuperCopa annually when they were younger.
