I'm distracted by the fact that the White House uses the chairs that are the cheapest option at basic party rental company. How uncomfortable!

That coat looks like a snuggie!

She really takes after her dad in body shape.

She looks like she's aged 10 years. She's 26.

Agreed, she already has wrinkles. Must be the stress from law school.

Those are extensions in her hair and they look terrible.

She is on stage under lights in a buttoned up trench coat. At this point I must assume that her chronic coat wearing inside is psychological.

Seems she's trying to insulate herself from the cold reception she receives.

She did get booed at this event.

The clash of browns makes her hair look green. In all the school assemblies, or whatnot I've sat through, I can't remember a speaker wearing a trench coat. Weird.

It’s very 1930s Berlin rally. But I suspect she sees it as emotional armor.

Good observation. She’s graduated from her hitler youth look.

Here you go, kinda wicked stepmom Claus:

It's the traditional nightshirt of the Slovenian people.

It's more like a Bessarabian carpet (I spent years in Moldova/Romania and saw many a one). Maybe she's playing Scarlet O'Hara but instead of curtains, she used a carpet.

I think it was part of her escape plan to roll herself up this coat and hire movers to take a carpet to an undisclosed location.

It’s causing me serious agida to admit to liking anything Mel does, but I kinda dig the rose jacket. I’d wear it as my ludicrously overpriced bathrobe.

I don’t object to the print, but I don’t like the big Santa Claus-esque cuff and trim, and I’ve never liked the flowers on a dark backdrop Soviet look. It’s just always looked so dour.

Which, if any anyone used to read Tom and Lorenzo’s breakdown of Joan’s costumes on Mad Men, I bet Melania is screaming a message here.

Yes, but it’s the buttons (and his didn’t cost $3K)
