It's more like a Bessarabian carpet (I spent years in Moldova/Romania and saw many a one). Maybe she's playing Scarlet O'Hara but instead of curtains, she used a carpet.

I think it was part of her escape plan to roll herself up this coat and hire movers to take a carpet to an undisclosed location.

It’s causing me serious agida to admit to liking anything Mel does, but I kinda dig the rose jacket. I’d wear it as my ludicrously overpriced bathrobe.

The clash of browns makes her hair look green. In all the school assemblies, or whatnot I've sat through, I can't remember a speaker wearing a trench coat. Weird.
