Interesting. I never read that blind - it was before the engagement which is when I got interested. Honestly, its a 'small' secret and Kate is/was kind of b*tch. This and other things just irks me. She refused to meet Meghan when they were dating, apparently after Meghan moved into Kensington Palace she didn't want her riding with her (which is fair - maybe if Meghan was photographed in the car it would have been seen as a HUGE sign of acceptance from Kate), but to also not throw Meghan an engagement party, bridal shower, or baby shower just reads grade A b*tch to me. |
I also agree. |
Yeah keep agreeing with your unhinged fantasies |
| ^^nothing unhinged about what has been said. Half of it is in the public domain anyway and the rest isn't hard to figure out. |
| Question...If this immensely popular British Royal Family soap opera hadn't been going on for the past three years what high-profile relationship would you all be ridiculously obsessed with and so emotionally invested in? |
| Will they be at the Oscars? For sure, right? |
Brad and Jen
|
They’re too old. Boring. |
There's not really anyone - these couples (and the drama) seem to come up once a decade like shooting stars. In the 90s it was Diana and Charles. In the 00s it was Angie and Brad. In the 10s there was a void. In the 20s it might be Meghan and Harry. |
Nope. In the 10’s it was Beyoncé and Jay-Z. You don’t remember the Solange tape in the elevator? Lemonade? Come on! |
That is sort of true. But Beyonce is notoriously private and its hard to have couples with drama or following their activities TOGETHER when she *and he* literally disappear unless they're on tour. The Solange tape was a once in a blue moon thing. As far as I remember - no one could even get a picture of Beyonce pregnant with Blue Ivy beyond her initial announcement. |
PP here. My point exactly. |
Wasn’t it Gigi and Zayn (for the young people)? I may be getting that wrong. One of the Hadid sisters. |

i don't know - in their engagement video both harry and Meghan singled out kate specifically for effusive praise about how wonderful and welcoming she was (less so will).
The wedding was the height of their good press, and people everywhere loved them. I think once she decided to announce her preganancy at Eugenies wedding, people were like, ok, that's weird... but then their Australia tour was great. then things got weird for real, with the secrecy and weirdness around the birth, the christening and the photos of archie, but then things got better with the Africa tour, where they really did a fantastic job connecting with people. and then the interview was the kiss of death, that was unforgivably entitled, out of touch and tone deaf … |
*updated* i don't know - in their engagement video both harry and Meghan singled out kate specifically for effusive praise about how wonderful and welcoming she was (less so will). They were happy like every newly engaged couple and decided thank at least Kate who wasn't being outright hostile The wedding was the height of their good press, and people everywhere loved them. I think once she decided to announce her preganancy at Eugenies wedding, people were like, ok, that's weird... but then their Australia tour was great. Meghan and Harry told extended family members in person that they were pregnant. She did not get up on a tabletop and scream it. Australia tour was great but resentment was stirred back home by royals seeing the reception they got - which was acknowledged as better than the Cambridges AND the Queen. then things got weird for real, with the secrecy and weirdness around the birth, the christening and the photos of archie, but then things got better with the Africa tour, where they really did a fantastic job connecting with people. The Sussexes made mistakes here I'll admit. Honestly after finding out that Archie's godparents were Harry's longtime friend, Tiggy Legge-Bourke (his former nanny), and someone else equally British I think they should have just released the names. and then the interview was the kiss of death, that was unforgivably entitled, out of touch and tone deaf … What was out of touch and tone deaf was the BRF ignoring the threats and media harassment they've received since 2017. Never forget Harry had to release a letter on Meghan's harassment back when they were DATING. Not one of the BRF stepped a toe out and spoke up on their behalf. Not the Queen, not Harry's father, not his brother, no one. |
