No this is war. A war that Hamas started. If you don't want none, don't start none. FAFO |
It's not Islamaphobia because they're also targeting Christians. |
Like in the West Bank? Where living peacefully has led to all sorts of productive conversations about ways to move forward? |
This is an area where it is reasonable to criticize Israel and pressure Israel to reach some sort of mutually agreeable resolution. But the last time Israel backed out of settlements, Hamas moved in. So, understandably Israel is wary of doing that again. I think they should slowly naturalize the west bank palestinians unless they are ready to take on the ultra orthodox jews because they do not look like they will ever stop being dicks about it. |
ETA FAFO et al. |
You can't separate out Gaza and the West Bank like that. Palestinians are from Gaza, they are also from the West Bank. To disregard what happens in the West Bank as not impacting the people in Gaza, and vice versa, is ridiculous. Palestinians have families and friends in both areas. Gaza is literally less than 30 miles away from the West Bank. |
Right principle but the country finding out is not what you think. |

It is truly and sad and tragic day when the pope has joined the ranks of pro-hamas supporters |
FAFO works both ways. Israel's genocide and cruelty in Gaza is FingA, and it will soon find itself FingO. That's the way of the world. Violence breeds violence. The problem started long before Hamas was founded. From the start, Israel has been a racist, apartheid state that was built on the most brutal and genocidal terrorism. You can't massacre 15,000 people and displace over 700,000, as happened during the Nakba, and not expect pushback. You can't shoot demonstrators with the intent of "breaking bones," lock up political prisoners without trial, assassinate journalists who draw attention to your violations of international law, brutalize Palestinians in the West Bank (including stealing their homes), slaughter tens of thousands of innocent people, and cause some multiple of that to die of starvation, thirst, disease, or exposure without some sort of retaliation. Israel is only fanning the fuels of resistance. |
You can be disgusted by Israel's cruelty and genocide without being "a pro-Hamas supporter." Your slogans are so stale and stupid that they've become meaningless. |
This is profound. |
|
So the pro-Hamas posters' comment boil down to:
Israel holds Palestinian prisoners who engaged in terror. Israel kills Palestinians who plot and engage in terror. The so-called "nakba" 75 years ago justifies any and all atrocities perpetuated by Palestinians born decades later. Israeli actions to suppress Hamas are always unjustified and always result in harm to women and children; terrorists are never to be discussed, and their casualty rates are undisclosed. Hostages? Who cares about hostages? Oct 7? That justifies nothing, Israel had it coming (see "Nakba, above). We get it. |
It’s very, very difficult to see how people who think like you could possibly find yourself wound up in never lending conflict wherever you go. The accountability and empathy meters are so maxed out, what more could you possibly do to get along with others? |
Easy, Hamas surrenders and releases the hostages. Casualties which follw that would be tragic instead of predictable and justified. |
|
Jews will never recover from what Israel has done in Palestine. World opinion is turning sharply against Israel and the effects will be felt by Jews wherever they live. The USA is an outlier, because Americans are both detached and stupid, but the college students are in the vanguard.
