Because you'd rather hear the 'brave brave girl' narrative. The truth is, the devil is in the details. |
Love the part where the epinephrine (?) in her brain helps her remember.......... |
Mark judge needs to address this story. |
Wonder if R's are thinking WTF?
The prosecutor is asking her to confirm her childhood home's location with their minutes Nice job -- hammer them for not subpoenaing Mark Judge |
I don't see any holes so far. This situation is so common you have no idea. |
One of the biggest factors in a murder investigation is motive. Why would this person be murdered? Who are their enemies?
Rape and sexual assault is often times, an evidence-less crime, or a crime full of circumstantial evidence that can be explained away. So why don't we look more at the motive? What is the motive for Kavanaugh to lie? He has many, many reasons. What is Dr. Ford's motive to lie? Anyone? Anyone? |
I’m not telling Ford that. I’m just saying the “believe all women” narrative leaves no room for nuance/liars/human error |
So true. Time slows down and the traumatic event is vivid. |
Ford just admitted to not hearing conversation, yet claimed the people downstairs were talking in her letter and testimony. May seem small.... but details like this are important since she lacks so many other details. |
Epinephrine is adrenaline. I had no idea it had anything to do with forming memories. |
+1 It's Recovered Memory, which research indicates is not always accurate. |
They actually asked her "how do you know this happened to you?" WTF kind of question is that. |
I quoted your "step back", which I took to mean "slow down". If you actually meant, don't bother with this, then I guess I misunderstood. |
+1 |
I think that we can not believe all women but still believe Kavanaugh assaulted women. For example, I think the Duke Lacrosse thing, the Columbia U mattress girl, etc are horrible, but these accusers seem much more credible Kavanaugh is the one acting like a liar. Won't even have his buddy Mark testify in his defense |
