I cannot believe that we are coming up on the first year anniversary of the tragic deaths of Shan’aan, Bella Marie, Celeste “CeCe” Catherine + Baby Nico.

This is one crime I will never EVER get over.
The videos Shan’aan left us show what a wonderful, loving Mother she always was to her two precious little angels.

Chris Watts admitted he planned it all. I figured it was about the child support.

However, he admitted in the letter that he had been plotting the murders for some time.

August 12th when I finished putting the girls to bed, I walked away and said ''That's the last time I'm going to be tucking my babies in.'' I knew what was going to happen the day before and I did nothing to stop it!' he wrote.

He also confessed that he had slipped the potent painkiller Oxycodone to his wife in the hope of inducing a miscarriage. 'I thought it would be easier to be with Nichol if Shanann wasn't pregnant,' he wrote.

Kessinger (the mistress) said that she didn't believe the affair was the catalyst for the murders but it may have 'accelerated the process.'

She told them that 'money is the biggest catalyst for this event happening.'

I searched and found this because I hadn't read that before. They could have easily sold that house and paid off the ridiculous mortgage they got themselves into. He could have gotten joint custody where the support wouldn't have been so much. Nicole home wrecker had a good job, they would have been fine. He wanted to erase them all, completely start over. They had filed for bankruptcy already in 2015 and facing everything else relating to the house (which their HOA was suing them for missing payments) and child support would not have been at all easy.

Shanann didn't have a job and even back in her call center days only made $30,000 a year. Couple that with a newborn and two toddlers...

He was probably looking at a monthly support payment of $2,000 easy. Too much for him to start over fresh with a new wife, new home/apartment, and new family plus whatever debt related to the past family which they obviously couldn't pay.

I do not find this weird at all.

This tragic case was one of those rare situations where you do remember names (especially since young children were involved.)

This wasn’t your typical five o’clock news story.

It is a very isolated case and many people find that they remember everyone’s names plus the date that the murder(s) took place.
I find it pathetic that you would personally attack another poster and tell them they need help just because they remember the names & date of a recent murder case.
