My UVA daughter has moved on from even trying. There is no dating that goes on and no hooking up either unless you're black out drunk which is not what she or her friends are into. No one from her friend group of 10 or so has had any real interaction with guys and they're now in semester 2. They hang out as a group of girls and go to concerts and dinners out and hikes and sorority things and are constantly meeting more versions of themselves: awesome, fun groups of girls. It might as well be an all-girls school. Maybe they'll date after college.
