Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)
That’s really not trashing anyone - most of the staff felt this way. Also, did you stand up for the former principal of Navy when he was trashed on here? If not, sit down and stfu. |
Navy has a gaming culture. If you have a son, and if you don't want him playing games, maybe consider staying at crossfield. Are you really trying to say boys who attend Crossfield don’t play video games? LOL. |
Are you really trying to say boys who attend Crossfield don’t play video games? LOL. Gaming culture means kids making appointments to play online together after school. Purely from bus stop chatter, only heard it from Navy kids. We are crossfield zoned and there are kids transfering 5th or 6th grade and differences in gaming stood out. Also AAP navy bus takes longer for crossfield kids and everyone was playing games on the school computer on the bus. My kid says bus driver told them they can do it because the driver just want some peace and quiet. Just providing some info for crossfield family thinking sending their kids to Navy. |

So you are taking something you heard from kids at a single bus stop and generalizing to all of Navy. And you are comparing upper ES at Navy to upper ES at Crossfield without considering that if your kid switched schools, you can't actually compare to what is happening at Crossfield because your kids are no longer there. Sounds like logic is not a strength of yours. Gaming is something most of the boys get more interested in as they get to upper ES. I see it in boys we know from Navy, Crossfield, Lees Corner, Oak Hill, Waples Mill, and private schools. If you don't want your kid to do it that's your choice. But no need to make it sound like something particular to Navy when it's literally every school around here. |

You’re not even part of the community yet. Back off. DP but this is 100% why I did not send my XFLD child to Navy for AAP. I have heard the parents are just awful and not inclusive of new families and you just proved it. |

Expecting gossip about the latest scandal on an anonymous website and being refused it has nothing to do with being inclusive. Honestly no point in coming to Navy anymore for AAP. Your kid will get level 3 services, not level 4. It’s a joke. |

You will get a different set of after school activities which are more academic focused, cross field had more fun ones and better donuts for their dudes with donuts |

If they come from Crossfield, they will indeed be getting Level IV. Not anymore. Ask the 6th graders. Wrong. And I’m not asking a 6th grader. lol. |
Not anymore. Ask the 6th graders. Wrong. And I’m not asking a 6th grader. lol. Some portions of the advanced 6th grade math are not providing appropriate differentiated lessons, this doesn’t qualify for level 4. Unfortunately the introduction of algebra resulted in a good number of the AAP kids being underserved academically. It’s a real problem actually. |
