My family was a strong supporter for Earle Sears. Attended few events with her in Northern Virginia and donated to her campaign. After the Jay Jones story, I am sickened by how Earle Sears continues to support the widespread proliferation of firearms which has led to the crass discourse that Jay Jones exemplified in his private texts. I can no longer support Earle Sears in good consciousness and will be voting for Spanberger. |
| Why won’t Republicans support common sense gun laws? |
|
Sears served as a Marine. |

My sister served in the army. She doesn’t randomly pose with guns all the time. |
|
My husband is retired Air Force and doesn't believe that people should have guns in their homes. Ours included. |

Your response is exactly why Sears is going to lose. DOGE indiscriminately cut federal jobs. No rhyme or reason. She said the cuts were good. Northern VA's unemployment rate went up more than any other place in the region so saying the cuts were good is not going to land well. You think cutting research positions and expertise were not needed? We won't be able to compete against China. |

Why did she promote guns during her last campaign? |

Is your sister running for governor of Virginia? |

Argument from authority. Do better. |

 Wut? |
| I met my husband while he was at Andrews. I was so happy when I heard him say he didn’t want guns in his home. He currently works with federal leos, and many of them feel that there should be a ban on ar-15s and other similar weapons. We do own an antique rifle that is an heirloom, but locked away tight. We have no bullets for it. We got it after my FIL passed away. My husband keeps a baseball bat in our room, but we also have other security measures in place (cameras, dog, locks, etc) Anyway, I honestly have never understood the obsession with guns in this country. And posing with a huge gun for a campaign ad is going to make dislike you immediately. |
