What a selfish decision by Joe & Co. He has a 30% approval rating, and blue states are now in play!

And, yes, I’m a Black woman who wants to vote for someone under 60, FFS! 70, even! I’m so tired of hearing that Black people want Joe. No one asked me.

I’ll never forgive Joe for this selfish BS.

Get a hold of yourself.

Black women (in general, not every single one) have been very vocal on social media about supporting Joe for pragmatic reasons, but also because they sense that this push was also about ousting Harris and that would be utter BS and actually undemocratic. It would have the appearance of cutting out the voter from the process entirely, if you remove both people on the ticket who 14 million people voted for (not our faults nobody really had the cojones to challenge Joe before we voted).

Sorry that you feel disenfranchised and will not vote for anyone besides Harris.

I would prefer at least a semblance of looking at options (since everyone but you remembers that she came in last in the last primary) - but if it has to be Harris, then it will have to be Harris.

The time for that came and went ages ago. If you want to navel gaze, think about who might be her Veep.

I love when the paid shills show up to try and change public opinion. Remember the push just after Jan 6, when their assigned talking point was how we shouldn't pursue anything now wait a couple of years for the right time?

As a republican

Honestly yall just get it together and pick a candidate.

This is ridiculous.

They did. Joe Biden.

But now they realize he can’t win so they’d like the chance to pick someone else. That’s not how this works. Life lesson.

But now they realize he cannot do it. So they will pick someone else. That's how it goes, sometimes. You can't control everything.

And unreasonable. Biden, however, is not immune from reason. He is being convinced right now. He is coming to the correct conclusion.

He just released a statement that he isn’t dropping out.

He will be dropping out soon.

Agree. DNC and democrat power brokers have had it with Joe. He will drop soon because they will hold release of Hur tapes and/or his big guy shady business deals over his head. He’s unable to understand but Jill and Hunter will be smart enough to take the deal.

It’s about time for the donor class to be told that they don’t own our democracy. 14.5 million people voted for Joe in the primary. You don’t get to just throw those out because of some bad polls. Bush senior was down 17 points to Dukakis after the 1988 Dem convention and we know how that turned out. The time to promote Biden alternatives was the primary.

No.

EVERYONE has had it with Joe. It's an outrage that his decline was hidden by his closest circle in 2024. He was mumbling and getting confused before that, but the average voter could be excused for not paying attention, and the Dem elected representatives and media were too cowardly to come together to push him aside. Biden's decline became more pronounced this spring, until it couldn't be hidden at all, despite his circle's best efforts. So now everyone is Big Mad, everyone feels betrayed, and most people recognize Harris has the best shot at beating Trump than all the alternatives.

Harris it is. Get on board.

This.

“We have to save democracy from Trump…..but first let us throw out 14,000,000 votes and drive an elected POTUS out of office with a vicious rumor campaign.”

I’ve been a Democrat since 2000 but this is height of hypocrisy.

This!!! Co-signed black woman in her 40’s. We dont want joe!

How do you feel about Kamala?

I’m the first PP “[NP]”

I am quite neutral on Harris. I have been a Pete Buttigieg supporter since 2019. Ideally, Harris is the top of the ticket with Pete as her running mate.

His physical and cognitive decline is not a "rumor". It's a fact.

There was no realistic alternative during the primary, because voters were not informed of the extent of Biden's impairment.
This is acknowledged by most people, PP. I know you're posting everywhere trying to persuade others that Biden should be the nominee, but that option disappeared the night of the debate. He was done then, he just didn't know it. It appears you are delusional like he is. This is not a donor class problem. No one except you and a small number of morons want to stick with Biden.

If you didn’t know about Biden’s impairment, you need to scrap all of your news sources. Seriously. They left you completely misinformed.

I never wanted him as a candidate! Many of my peers felt the same way about - he did great to stabilize after the crazy years but should have been planning from day 1 on a succession.

Sure, I'd vote for him over Trump, I'd vote for anyone really at this point who isn't a felon, Epstein pedo buddy, general scumbag.

DP. I watched the debate. I don't watch CNN or CSPAN and hadn't seem any video of Biden in person in month and months.

I was shocked. He is past the time of taking grandpa's keys away. He cannot be the presidential candidate. And I do not think well of AOC to say that he should be.
