I work at uscis. O visa s are basically just for famous people. Sorry to lift the curtain on the us pay to play immigration system for you.

He could be here under a spousal green card, he could have an o visa, he could have some special diplomatic visa, he could be applying for the eb5 investor visa, and you will never know which path he took unless he announces it because it’s confidential (I do not know nor could I look it up because it’sa fireable offense to look up interesting People for no reason).

It is positively ludicrous to think that us companies are hiring him and issuing press statements about hiring a foreign National without verifying their immigration status. Literally hilariously laughable. Like it’s like talking about Obama’s birth certificate ludicrous.

I know many people who are are different kinds of visas who do not have a green card (diplomatic spouse, etc.) and many of them do not allow you to work.

Why wouldn't he get a green card? I don't get how people are wringing their hands about it. Depend upon it that he's legal like sunrise. He's married to a US citizen and has money. A hundred bucks says his paperwork was completed a year ago. I mean, come on.

As means of education, please site the immigration law which allows for this, and how Harry would meet the requirements. Keep in mind that he is working for U.S companies as an employee. Also, what are the possible ramifications for him as a royal if he indeed has a green card?

Look up USCIS website. A US citizen can immediately bring over their spouse, their own parents and any minor children without any waiting time whatsoever. This is called “adjustment of status” and gives permission for the family members to live and work in the US until the physical green card arrives. You can also start this process while you are still abroad even before moving to America. This process can be initiated even when the US citizen and their spouse are still living abroad.

Did you all miss the point about Harry supposedly stated HE WAS NOT APPLYING FOR A GREEN CARD. If he is NOT APPLYING FOR A GREEN CARD then it gets back to under what condition is he allowed to have residency in the US?

Is he here under a "rich person's visa" (significant investment/job creation in US) and if so then how can he be working for U.S. companies as an employee? Also, aren't those visas limited in duration? Meaning, he would have to leave after so many years if he does not go on and get a green card as a spouse?

Not at all. I am just interested to know what his status is. Immigration is an important issue in this country and many people would probably be interested to know what his status is. Not only those who wish to immigrate here but also Americans who have immigration issues within their own families.

He is not here in his official capacity as a royal then I don't think he can use that as criteria for either diplomatic nor O-1.

If he has an O-1 then I think that is quite a stretch TBH. Per USCIS:

"To qualify for an O-1 visa, you must demonstrate extraordinary ability by sustained national or international acclaim, or a record of extraordinary achievement in the motion picture and television industry, and must be coming temporarily to the United States to continue work in the area of extraordinary ability.

Extraordinary ability in the fields of science, education, business or athletics means a level of expertise indicating that you are one of the small percentage who have arisen to the very top of the field.

Extraordinary ability in the field of arts means distinction. Distinction means a high level of achievement in the field of the arts. This is evidenced by a degree of skill and recognition substantially above that ordinarily encountered, to the extent that you are prominent, renowned, leading, or well-known in the field of arts."

Exactly what abilities does Harry have? What field has Harry risen to the very top of? Being BORN into a royal family does not mean a person has risen to the top by extraordinary accomplishment/acclaim. In fact, he isn't even at the top of the BRF.

Melania Trump had an O-visa. It’s a loophole for well-connected people.

DP. I'm watching it, it's quite long. They are describing specific expressions and meanings. Obviously they didn't believe the "I didn't Google him" but beyond that, they are more about analyzing the behavior rather than just believing or disbelieving Harry and Meghan. It's interesting for the descriptions of stress behaviors.

Correct. They state that they "are Switzerland". They go through a very specific analysis of what they believe and don't believe in the interview...While they are very polite about it, it is clear that much of the interview has pretty significant untruths. There is a specofoc segment on who might have said the thing about the color of the baby's skin - where they note that his accent deepens, and that suggests that it was Prince Charles who made the comment.

I found it surprising bc I would think this was exactly what they tried to avoid in a 2 day taping. I was surprised by how much of the interview these interrogation experts felt was questionable.

Well if the IRS is anything like the USCIS, according to PP employee who claims it's pay to play, then I would expect they won't be paying as much as the rest of us in taxes. They'll find every exemption available which is perfectly legal. Particularly through their non-profit. Write-offs for using that $14 mansion as offices, private jet travel, etc. All those legal tax loopholes so the rich can keep their money.

He has to work for a living for the rest of his life instead of begging Granny, daddy, and his brother for money. I don’t really find that humiliating. Like everyone else in his family he has no skills and is not particularly special just like all his relatives so this is what he can do. If the BRF were smart they would have encouraged him to remain in the military long-term. But they didn’t so now we are here.
