New Additions to Leagues Check Up (ECNL & GA)

STA and TH are one of the last top 10 GA clubs that have boys on the ECNL side.

I can’t find the post from college soccer truth…

Are there any MLSN HG -- new or old -- that still have ECNL girls? Would they switch anytime soon? OR is there no arm-twisting going on behind the scenes?

Lots of MLSN/ ECNL clubs out there.
The post was specifically 2 GA teams leaving for ECNL. Which to me has to be STA and Top Hat unless there’s another top GA club without MLSN.

In the Bay Area two clubs have ECNL girls and MLSN boys and one has ECNL boys and GA girls.

@Imcollegesoccer just posted the following:

"DM: ALSO,Three very dominant ECNL clubs are going to leave ECNL for the GA this year. Three of the top 20 left in the ECNL league. They will be announcing soon.

-ECNL Club Director

BVB is not a dominant GA club.

STA and TH would be in that group.
SDSC is a solid GA club but idk about dominant. Again who knows maybe ECNL is looking past the MLSN boys thing.

College Soccer Stats makes some good points in response to the post:

"I don't understand why this is such a debate. Shouldn't these leagues be working together for 'the players' ?? Why is there so much divide about "which league is the best" ??? It seems like a marketing plot for certain clubs to hide behind the badge and charge naive American soccer parents thousands per year with the magic words "college soccer scholarship/exposure"

College soccer is a non-revenue sport anyways, so full-rides are rare and even after academic/merit money -- you will likely continue to pay a healthy amount out-of-pocket, just like you've been doing from U12-U19 club soccer.

As soon as a club announces on social media "we are MLS Next/ECNL/GA next year" a bunch of soccer families club-hop...then a few years later when those players commit -- those clubs all pass off those college commitments as their own......did you really develop that player or just poach them from another club at U16???

Could we please just simplify it all and go back to local/regional leagues, state cup, and 1 national tournament to determine a true winner. It will never be a perfect or "free-to-play" system, there will always be costs, but we could at least get a lil closer....

I think we've lost the plot."

That doesn’t make sense. 3 of top 20 left in ECNL? Also this was definitely not posted. Posting fake stuff is lame.

HTX just got another team into GA and have MLSN. They aren’t going anywhere.
