I think this thread is a conspiracy. I also think nefarious actors sometimes start threads like this to augment bad intention, or glean little bits of information about local issues in our country so they can extract tiny bits of information that would make it easier to assimilate in a foreign culture. Otherwise, I appreciate the discretion amongst the well intentioned and well informed to respect the integrity and safety of America’s republic, intentionally conspired or not.

I had that dress or a very similar one when I was pregnant. It’s the dress. When I was big enough to need maternity clothes but my belly had not popped yet into a classic pregnant shape, I did not fill out the middle part my maternity dresses that were fitted close at the knee. They were structured enough to look nice standing, but crumbled and showed my larger, but not rounded, stomach when I sat down at work. This is poor tailoring and fabric choice, not a fake belly.

Agree. Tina Knowles was their seamstress for some time, and there were a lot of examples of poor design construction with the other singers before Beyoncé went solo. I guessed it was something made to accentuate her figure. She may have not had as much of a belly, which could cause for stressful speculation too. Sometimes women look huge, other times they carry the pregnancy in a way that makes it barely noticeable until like the 7th or 8th month.

Admittedly - Beyoncé’s expression always gave me more pause than the dress itself.

Avril already had a body double that she was using for events, concerts, appearances because she couldn't handle the lime light. When it got to much and she intentionally ODed, the producers just slid the body double into place.
