Which summer swim clubs are opening (nova)

Why are pools even in that category. Shouldn’t they be under a sports/recreation or parks?? The vast majority of Virginia pools have nothing to do with tourism.

Phase 3. Indoor and outdoor water parks may open. Outdoor non-profit club pools remain open for lap swim and exercise only, 4 per lane for lap swim.

I also wonder if they got an exemption for Phase 2 in which case I’ll be really pi$$ed.

The only thing I'm wondering is, could waterparks be under a different category than the regular pool regulations? Like an amusement park, that happens to be wet?

Olivia McCormick just emailed me and said GWL is not opening under Phase 2.

As phase 2 prohibits interactive water play features and recreational swimming, this type of facility can't operate in Phase 2.

Reply back to her and ask how great wolf lodge knows it will be in phase 3 by June 17.

Remember, the head to the VDH said like a month ago he though Phase I would last for two years.......

I'm starting to think the Health Department isn't recruiting from the top of the class.

What!! Two years?’ What

I’m amazed that any millenial-ish middle class person in America in 2020 wouldn’t know how to swim.

Haha, Norman effectively got dunked on with that prediction.

Why would you put a person who doesn’t swim or know anything about pools in charge of pools...

It's possible she may not even be in the loop, and this is a business conversation.

+1

I wonder how many questions she has received.

When is the governor having another press conference to talk more about this?

The rest of Virginia only went into phase 2 this past Friday so it’s hard to believe he’s moving them to phase 3 before the 17th.

He was supposed to talk about schools/kid sports/kid camps and pools LAST tuesday. Then he "ran out of time". Then he was supposed to talk about them Thursday, but spent an hour yada yadaing about taking down monuments, then again ran out of time.He seems to expire after exactly 60 minutes.

(What else more important does he have to do than update people on information they need for their lives?)

I get the feeling that anything kid-related is not a priority for this administration.
