Reston opposed it more, actually. Some of the board members at Reston resigned over it. And yes both clubs weee too small to stand alone but apparently a lot of people are either forgetting that or don’t realize how bad it was for both clubs. The merger was a long time in the making and not something that got thrown together overnight haphazardly but the Reston side was definitely the more reluctant!!
