From their website : In collaboration with the Northern Virginia Majestics, Riverbend FC is pleased to offer the opportunity to play in USL Youth's competitive Summer league.

So they don't really have Super Y, they are just funneling people to McLean's program.

Their rec program appears to be an in house program which generally only works in large clubs like Loudoun.

And still no official league affiliation for their travel program.

Can we let this thread die now?

I heard multiple families thought they were signing up for GFR and were surprised to find Phoenix was separate. Did RBF /Phoenix coaches and parents really sell it as connected to GFR? For an RBF admin who claimed to be taking the ethical and moral high road last year, seems like an awfully interesting approach!

whatever, dude. our team manager sent us the info and said it was the program our gfr team was doing this winter. gfr didn't have any futsal registrations up on their site at the time so why wouldn't i have trusted her? yes, in retrospect i should have asked some questions but at the time it never crossed my mind. my kid is 9 years old, i'm new to this. trust me, i'll be asking a lot of questions going forward about any new *clubs* or programs that pop up, especially if this same group is attached to it

What you describe is fraud. I'd demand my money back. Everybody keeps saying RBFC/ML has plenty of money, I'm sure they'll be happy to refund it if it rather than risk a fraud claim.
