It's not really about GFR itself and never has been. GFR is, on the whole, probably a better club than most of its immediate neighbors not named McLean. The "beef" is a few loudmouth members, ex-coaches, and ex-board members that want to control GFR themselves, plain and simple. It's the same group that spread conspiracy theories about RS to try to get him out, culminating with the attempted coup last spring. Part of that group now sits on the Board of RBFC. The entire reason RBFC exists is to try to take down GFR. It's sad really. Some of these people were well-respected GFR members with wonderful kids. They are ruining their reputation and hurting their own kids for some vanity project.[/quote]
Hilarious. Many have lived through the churn - Rado, KB, RS, KG (Admin), GD, and who knows who else. I’m not sure there has been a more chaotic club in the entire DMV the past 3 years.[/quote]

It goes even further back, I am old enough to remember back when Eddie Beach was in charge (before rado) and was caught with his hand in the money jar.  GFR has been in chaos for the past decade.  There are few clubs with a reputation as bad as GFR. The stink around here is a stinky as it gets.   [/quote]
