Are you speculating, or have you heard this directly from a FCV coaching source? It contradicts what I've heard (from coaches at other ecnl clubs). My sources could obviously be wrong - but we will see.

Well to paraphrase.. what they said was we have met ECNL's stated criteria for DA teams to stay in ECNL, and we (FCV) have not heard anything from ECNL that tells us we're out. It appears to me that they are waiting to see what ECNL does.

Are they being purposely vague so they don't lose players?

Are FCV are bluffing here. Maybe they are holding onto the ECNL card until after DA tryouts so they can lock in players before they announce they lost ECNL?

Basic Question . . . . . . why does it seem to be taken as common knowledge in this forum that the FCV parents and club are crazy? Are they different/worse then McLean ECNL families?

. . . . . or, is this due to some comparison to the more normal parents of Loudoun soccer?

I don't have a dog in the fight yet, but makes me think I never want to take my DD to FCV in a few years. We don't belong to any of these mentioned clubs, but very curious all the same. thanks

Lol

1. Have you seen the VYS thread?

2. This is by far the most popular thread in the Sports and Fitness forum followed by the VYS thread. Clearly there are enough crazy soccer parents all over.

If your on this forum you are crazy...embrace it...now back to the subject at hand.

Girls DA

FCV is unsure if they will have ECNL next year. Imo..they asked for it but haven't received a answer Dangling a carrot as if they will have it.

Washington Spirit? ANYONE HAVE INFO?

There were some really great posts about soccer development yesterday..and then I open today to 2 pages of frantic, type A girl mom's going nuts about DA, encl, FCV (where the f@ck is FCV?). Sigh. This is how they stay in business. Wave a shiny carrot.
