OP, I would also ask when and what kind (short description). Some 3 carat rings are less expensive than some 1/2 carat rings, FYI. When I see a woman with a huge headlight ring, the first thing I think is that they are bad with money. |

True, but it's a personal pref of the lady wanting a colorless, near colorless, or don't care at all diamond. The assumption is that the engagement ring price is for a diamond, but some couples discuss it beforehand and maybe there are other types of gems that the lady likes. I'm just interested to know the total expense on average since DCUMers are notorious for commenting on salaries like 150k is just barely scraping by in middle class while 450k is living comfortably and anything over 700 is making bank. The real world I live in doesn't quite purport those same figures. |
