WASHINGTON (WJLA) – The unsealing of another search warrant in the quadruple homicide at a D.C. mansion indicates detectives are targeting one of homeowner Savvas Savopoulos' assistants and chauffeur, Jordan Wallace.
Police wanted to search 28-year-old Wallace's BMW. They found it just a block from the burning home where Savopoulos, his wife Amy, son Philip, and housekeeper Vera Figueroa were murdered.

---> the question is if LE found JW's car a block from the burning Sav. home, what car did JW drive out to Chantilly?

No I think he drove his bmw to the fire once he heard of it. The police immediately took possession of his car and phone. He was always in his car until afterwards.

It should be obvious. The Porsche was missing when firefighters arrived. JW drove his own BMW to Chantilly and back.

We don't have all the facts yet about JW, we do not. we can guess based on evidence as sensible pp points out. meanwhile he was fired from the racetrack and we don't know why as they're not telling media. We know he wasn't asked to resign, or demoted, but outright fired. this one fact shouldn't condemn him at all but facts like these are for LE, which we are not, and we are not privy to all the investigative details. We are hanging in there to understand and figure things out. unless pp so aggressively defending him knows him personally? really none of us wants anyone to be found guilty b/c we simply wish this hadn't happened! but it did! And someone(s) beyond Wint are responsible so we will carry on trying to sort this out based on the facts as we know them.

What is missing here is a more complete description of JW's arrival at the scene and his comportment when he encountered the police. Was he distraught? How did he present himself to police as an insider, witness? What was the more complete conversation with police? The only thing that has been presented in the Wint charging documents is his account of the phone calls and the money delivery. This would have been an extensive line of questioning by several police and fire investigators at the scene but we only have the equivalent of a Twitter conversation. There is a boat load of additional information to be revealed here. Note, very quickly after this event he went about erasing himself from social media and vanished. Police know where he is but it is not public information.

Why do you say he is black? His ethinicity is Scotch.

There IS evidence they knew each other. There is not PROOF. Big difference and a coincidence like this to be overlooked/dismissed as you insist is sloppy.
2. You're not a homicide detective, you run an Internet chat board. Your opinion does not hold more weight than mine.
3. You don't know that. You speculate/wish/hope.
4. Right.
5. Ok
6.
Lol ok

Who cares what Bruce Leshan's opine tweet said? Ok well Roscoe Howard, former U.S. Attorney for DC says, and I quote:

“That's Mr. Wallace's problem -- I mean, he clearly is connected and he's clearly connected in a hard-to-explain way and that's the problem he has,” said Roscoe Howard, a former U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia

Where is the evidence that they knew each other? The rest of your post is basically in agreement with me that you have no evidence of anything. Roscoe Howard's quote is over a week old, was uniformed, and shouldn't have been said. He, like you, has no evidence whatsoever to support his allegations.

lol ok dude I'll just agree that we disagree. You are very set and charged up on protecting this guy. Do you know him?

I think the sentiment stems more from a desire to allow the investigative process to unfold without a rush to judgement, no matter how excruciatingly slow it feels to bystanders. Someone else pointed out JW was probably considered as a likely suspect very early in the investigation, but as more evidence was processed it moved in a different direction. JW is considered a witness, not a suspect, and from everything I can ascertain (at this point) his life/experiences has placed him, for lack of a better phrase, "in the wrong place" at the "wrong time"

The most interesting thing is that this info about a search warrant of JW's car and such is old info (May 14) being unsealed / released now.
JW may be in danger and knows more about the situation that is being shared with the public hence his disappearance from public.
It might be that he realized ….after…. the events that the people that he talked to or enccountered were involved in the devious plan.
Not in either camp about JW…... just listening to what is revealed day by day, theorizing for sure, and yet realize LE has so much more parts to the puzzle then we know.

I really don't even. None of these posts are remotely worthy of rebuttal. I don't know how Jeff can put up with it. Hopefully you all will just wear yourselves out and wander back over to the WaPo comment section or wherever you came from.

I can't stop thinking about this family. Why didn't they scream to call 911, especially when their child was being hurt and there was nothing to lose? I can't get this out of my head -- I have no connection to this family but I find myself tearing up about it multiple times a day.

I can relate. I have no connection to the family either but am shocked to the core with what seems like an outright act of evil. They killers could have gotten the money without resorting to torture. I'm sure Mr. Savapoulos would have done anything to protect his family and their housekeeper.

I play through in my mind what would have happened if he did blurt out to call 911 during one of his phone calls: would the killers have fled immediately? Would they have killed the child and then fled? Killed everyone and fled? I know it's just Monday morning quarterbacking at this point, but like others, I think , what if?

I keep thinking it too. All day, everyday. What, oh what, could have kept them from asking for help in all of their calls/txts??!! Something did. We may never know. The only thing I can think of is that during every call/txt, Wint would start torturing the boy so that Amy/Savvas would comply to get the torture to stop asap. Sickening. I'm worried I'll never stop playing this nightmare over and over in my head.

Per Fox 5 News,

Flicker said four of Wints relatives paid him to represent Wint. He also went to visit Wint in prison. He's just waiting for Wint to sign the paperwork.

He takes the crown for attention whore.

-----> changing the subject...

Did LE get the safe open? From what I read and saw it appeared that they went to the house and fooled around with it, took photos of dial, but I didn't see anything about how that project ended.

Hope you all are done with the issue of whether JW and Wint knew each other because of apt complex. Think we have worn that out!

Because the victims were bound in duct tape while the perpetrators were using threats to the safety of the child if they step out of line or say anything out of line. Given the condition of the bodies you can imagine that the assailants were severely mistreating them to maintain control. The victims thought they could just buy their way out of this horrible situation. An alert to make a 911 call would take time for responders and in the mean time horrible harm would befall them.
