Here's my take. Assistant looked like good suspect in #Savopoulos murders BEFORE cops allegedly found Darron #Wint's DNA. Now, not. @wusa9

Ok well, maybe Bruce should come read up on here- maybe he'd change his mind.
I thought the assistant innocent until recently, when all these things have surfaced. I'm not saying he's guilty I'm just saying it's possible and can't be ruled out by us the not-so-informed public.

Here is your previous list of "all these things that have surfaced":

uhhhhh he was neighbors with Wint for a long time. They knew each other.
He lied to the police multiple times.
Multiple news sources are reporting (for example Leshan's Twitter and dailymail, amongst others) police are scrutinizing him extremely closely at this point.
Do you know something more than the police? Or perhaps it is more likely the police know more than you.
He complained about money- havea vs have nots- a lot, publicly and as gleaned from those hat knew him. He was bitter about money.
He was fired.
That 10 yr old kid had life on a silver platter
He may have been involved as far as stealing the money and splitting it, not knowing Wint would murder too. Or torture.
The list goes on. But for you or anyone but the police to assert this guy's innocence at this point seems wrong.

As I said in a much earlier reply to this, you created a straw man:

1) He was not "neighbors" with Wint. There is no evidence that they knew each other.

2) His original statement to police contained falsehoods, some of which the police described as "lies" (but not all of them). None of them seem to be very important to me.

3) He is not being "scrutinized" at this point. Rather, old documents were released today. The scrutiny was in the past.

4) Neither you nor I know more than the police.

5) I have posted before about the nature of motor sports. There are the haves and the have-nots. The fact that he lacked money is neither surprising nor significant. SS represented a long term solution to that problem. $40,000 did not.

6) He was fired. I'm not sure why that matters because he was also hired.

7) I'll give you that the kid had a life on a silver platter. Anything beyond that is unsupported speculation.

Basically, your list has been reduced to the fact that they lived in neighborhood complexes at different times. I'm not sure that Bruce Leshan or anyone else would find that persuasive.

Because the news is reporting on JW and the warrants..it isn't this message board..it is the news reporting on the news of the day. And JW is the news of the day

The slow bleed of documents from police is tactical. There are many witnesses involved. Police leave Persons of Interest out there to let them stew about details.
They go back several times to re-interview them an test how reliable they are or how nervous they behave. The investigation is looking at little bits of information that can provide adequate proof to the DC Prosecutor. This will take a while before suspects are announced and arrests are made.

There IS evidence they knew each other. There is not PROOF. Big difference and a coincidence like this to be overlooked/dismissed as you insist is sloppy.
2. You're not a homicide detective, you run an Internet chat board. Your opinion does not hold more weight than mine.
3. You don't know that. You speculate/wish/hope.
4. Right.
5. Ok
6.
Lol ok

Who cares what Bruce Leshan's opine tweet said? Ok well Roscoe Howard, former U.S. Attorney for DC says, and I quote:

“That's Mr. Wallace's problem -- I mean, he clearly is connected and he's clearly connected in a hard-to-explain way and that's the problem he has,” said Roscoe Howard, a former U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia

Robin Ficker was just on CNN, excuse me a sec while I regain composure. Now he's pointing the finger at Mr Figeroa, Vera's husband.

What is a dog whistle? I don't even understand what that poster meant. I think generally everyone has been pretty darn respectful, when you consider this is an emotionally charged subject, or even if you don't.

We are all upset -- horrified, outraged, grieving, etc. From what I've read if someone gets a bit out of line here it's soon been corrected!

Everyone take a deep breath!

AND the police "made up out of whole cloth" the blood evidence on the shoe. Just made it up.

Where is the evidence that they knew each other? The rest of your post is basically in agreement with me that you have no evidence of anything. Roscoe Howard's quote is over a week old, was uniformed, and shouldn't have been said. He, like you, has no evidence whatsoever to support his allegations.

I think the poster was using an idiom from "South Park" where a dog whistle is some sort of achievement. Kinda difficult to grasp its relevance to this forum.

One PP reminded us how many people were in contact with the family in the final hours to mins. NG was to have been at the martial arts studio helping with the opening right? As was JW? Were they at studio at same time and possibly when NG received the scary vm from SS? NG must have heard PS in background and I can't help but wonder why she didn't do more then to discover what was up w/ the family. Perhaps she has so many regrets now. Maybe she's passive by nature. If she was working at time with JW wouldn't she have gotten off phone and said, "wow what a strange call" and she and JW could have taken action... or not???? this is really bugging me. Or can someone confirm they wouldn't have been at the studio together that day.

The housekeeper did not listen to the voicemail till the AM of May 14 I think around 10am or so..from what I read on national news networks and local DC news networks..JW was not at the center with the housekeeper and SS..And she most likely would not have heard PS in the background since it was on a cell phone..or not know what she was hearing..CBS news had the voice mail but it was deleted where the background sounds were heard

I heard the voicemail when it was still available during an ABC news report. Partway through it, the sound of Philip or possibly one of the women sort of shrieking/struggling is clearly audible in the background. If we could hear it, the housekeeper surely would have heard it. However, hindsight is 20/20. We know it was something bad happening, so we can label the sound as struggling. Back then, the housekeeper probably thought it was a show on TV or Philip pitching a fit with his mom about something.

In one of AS's voice messages or texts didn't she say something like she was "having problems with Philip, as usual"? And looking back we were thinking that maybe was an attempted signal as it seems PS was a very well behaved little boy? She could also have been directed to say that to cover the shrieking in background.

Possibly, but at that time they were having problems with Philip due to his sports related injuries.

On a link from CBS news the background sounded like "Stop what are you doing" then screams cant find that link and ABC seems to have blocked it out of the call..you would have to have your speakers up loud to hear it

WASHINGTON (WJLA) – The unsealing of another search warrant in the quadruple homicide at a D.C. mansion indicates detectives are targeting one of homeowner Savvas Savopoulos' assistants and chauffeur, Jordan Wallace.
Police wanted to search 28-year-old Wallace's BMW. They found it just a block from the burning home where Savopoulos, his wife Amy, son Philip, and housekeeper Vera Figueroa were murdered.

---> the question is if LE found JW's car a block from the burning Sav. home, what car did JW drive out to Chantilly?
