| They seem so self important. |
Because they know how stuff works
But honestly it's just some of them. Some PhDs are the worst. I'm an engineer and I know a variety. Some are great and are aware of all the stuff they don't know and some think that their expertise in one narrow field (which is super great) makes them an expert on everything. |
| Because we know how to fix stuff with duct tape. |
|
I actually find engineers to be very down to earth people. The opposite of arrogant.
Lawyers are arrogant in my opinion. |
| Because we know how to do stuff. Lots of folks around here know how to talk, but not practical stuff. |
| I'm married to an engineer and I think many of them are just socially awkward and it can come off as arrogant. |
| Lol, I'm a physicist. I know a few bright engineers, but let's be honest, they're not usually the creme de la creme. (I'm mostly kidding this is kind of an inside joke amongst nerds). |
I'm not lending you my duct tape. You'd just get all tangled in it trying to figure out some theoretical solution.
|
Yeah and I'm not giving this guy my WD-40 either
|
| Most of them are really great people, in my experience, but the bad ones... oh my, are they bad. |
LoL - signed Wolowitz |
Hey I'm a lady, you dumb, sexist engineer! I'll solve the problem and then use my superior smarts and feminine wiles to make you do the labor. (Again, just messing around I'm sure you guys are brilliant). |
Say who? Let me guess, the spineless bean counters and lawyers? |
|
None of the engineers I know behave arrogantly. They are kept in check by the arrogant research PhDs
I just keep above the fray. |
| Because they've seen what all the non-engineers did when they're called in to rescue them? |
