Stop the FCV (DA) and McLean (ECNL) hate

Why would we admit something that just isn't true?

The poster is neither.

He/She is a egomaniac that needs validation from others. The same person that checks the "likes" every two seconds after posting something on social media. Always looking for that shot of dopamine.

No, we can't.

I actually nothing against McLean, but success / failure of one team may or may not be reflective of the club overall, its ability to develop and retain its own players, creating a path for its players to develop, or being competitive on a yearly basis.

Yes, it is a great accomplishment for one team for year --- nothing more.

But you ignore that this is common for McLean. The team won the u18/u19 last year and had the ECNL Player of the Year. There are players heading to or already at the top programs in the nation including UVA, Wisconsin, G-toen, UNC, Penn State, Duke, VATech, Princeton and others.

FCV has never had so many players at so many top universities.

McLean only sent 1 player to Real Madrid last year compared to 2 FVC players who signed with Chelsea

Dying to hear the J.A. story

I almost hate to weigh in but my daughter had JA and she said he is on the technical side a terrific coach. He made her better. We left the club for another opportunity but she still refers to things he taught from time to time. He is tough but by no means abusive. This is years back so maybe he got worse but I doubt it. Parents get too sensitive to when a coach yells. I feel like this is a Mclean parents are really sensitive thing. It is not something to freak out over. He yells because he cares. I have never heard profanity from him. There are a lot of weirdos in the coaching world-he is actually a good person.

This has been our experience with this coach as well. A recent experience. People should not believe everything they read.

My DD never trained with JA. I heard horror stories. I watched him train kids several times and didn't see any issues, but those were 2-3 times over the course of a year. A larger sample set may prove otherwise. Not sure why so many are bashing a coach on here though.

My DD had JA for some occasional settings, along with a host of other girls that left from his 06 age group that he ruined soccer for. DD played for a different age group to avoid him. Yeller, temper tantrums, bad role model. Don't give a crap if he thinks he's God's gift to ball mastery, there are plenty of better influences on a young girl. Where we are now there are lots of ex-JAs. It's not McLean, it's him. Why they keep him around is nuts.
