Stop the FCV (DA) and McLean (ECNL) hate

People just jealous living through their kid. They want so much more and know FCV is the only premier club in the dmv, and their kid couldn’t cut it.

So people resort to ‘your patch changed’ or ‘you have a practice at STJ’ or ‘coaches are mean’.

Just sour grapes and everyone knows it.

Rowing and tennis worked for some recently. They didn't even have to play. Btw, one of the girls got a 'fake' soccer scholarship. ..so you even have non-soccer players competing for team spots

Somewhat true but nobody who makes hiring or admissions decisions trusts ivy gpas anymore. 3.7 is average or slightly below average at a lot of top schools, and believe me, it is not because everybody is performing so brilliantly. I would take a higher-level athlete with a comparable GPA in a real major at a good state school. Especially if the sport demanded more time, like basketball. And I would definitely prefer to hire a state school division I athlete with a 3.5 over a grind with an average gpa at an ivy.

McLean has the worst coaching revolving door in all of VA - that is why they are hated. The few coaches that they keep on the payroll, other then CW, are there because no other club will touch them. Jaon Ahmad is a coach in McLean.

What is up with you people. Isn't the head women's coach of Howard and last year's girls youth coach of the year both at McLean. Didn't Mclean just send more of its teams to nationals than any other ECNL team on the east coach other than PDA.

Does the fact that McLean sent multiple teams to the ECNL National Playoffs and placed it oldest team in the finals and had three players named to the ECNL All-star team of 30 change attitudes here in the DMV about the club.
