I'm not clear on how a lawyer is unable to straighten her outfit before a photo is taken, but maybe it's some special Usha handicap. Okay then, poor thing. |
I can keep my dress straight and don't have half my tatas screaming for help, so I'm good, thanks. ![]() |
The single point of interest this dress/outfit has are those seams. That's it. So, with that being the focal point, you'd think someone would've cared enough about the one detail the dress had to pay attention to making sure it was correct. |
The photographer should have told her. |
You really don't understand the difference between "a lawyer" and the Second Lady? |
Bless your heart. |
So busy she can't straighten her dress for this sort of photo? It would've taken 4 seconds. If she's that busy, maybe she needs a new position? ![]() |
Not to mention I think they are saying since Melania was a professional model, she deserves criticism and Usha doesn't. So some women deserve criticism but the ones you deem worthy don't. Got it. Not sexist at all. |
+1. Like many lawyers here, I’ve had many professional headshots. The photographer or their assistant always points out and fixes issues with your hair, shine, clothes, etc. |
No one cares about the Second Lady’s fashion. |
Babe you're literally posting in a thread about it. |
You cannot possibly be serious - at this point, you must’ve purposely trolling. |
There are so many things you're not clear on. |
I would love to have her smile and eyes. My eyes are hooded and my face is so fat that I'm self-conscious when I smile. She looks wonderful. |
My memory is that opinion was mixed on the Talbots jacket. I was one of the people that liked it but I also admitted that I own at least two Talbots jackets. It also worked well for the assignment which was “approachable Midwestern mom.” I posted above I really like the white silk dress and think it looks great on her, although I’m not sure it was quite the right pick for this occasion. (Seems more spring to me and maybe some more festive?). I think part of the problem here is that no one knows what the assignment is for Isha. It’s not “approachable midwestern mom” like karen pence or Gwen walz. It’s not “fashion model emeritus” like Melania. It’s not “slightly cool suburban grandma” like Jill. At the moment, she’s stuck between “big law senior associate” and “DC socialite” and “suburban mom” and the message is mixed. I think she’ll find her groove but it’s going to take a minute. Also, for the record, I wish people would STFU about her grey hair. Grey hair is totally fine. She is fine with it. Don’t force her to stepfprd wife it. |
