Loudoun High School Lacrosse

Reading that they will be building another HS 1.5 miles away from Independence and 2.5 miles from Briar Woods. That will make lacrosse even more watered down in the Dulles South area.

This thread is just too silent for what is about to happen.

Indy at Riverside today for the 5D region.

Not a single post about how Indy kids are gods walking the earth among us?
No Riverside parents complaining how their boys are treated too rough?
No #43 or Indy slashers? No living in the past with rec titles or we own 5A?
No odds on the game, penalties or how much Riverside will win by?

So disappointing from both sides!

Hilarious.

I'm taking Riverside by 2. The SIDE takes it!

They’ll have to play again most likely after this anyways.

The private school thread keeps talking about PVI. Why aren't more Loudoun lacrosse players going to the school? They couldn't field a JV team this year.

Oh I don't know. Maybe 20-25K a year might have something to do with it.

I feel like Indy is more like the Cobra Kai of Loudoun County.

maybe people just don't care about lower divisions of public school lacrosse?

One obviously they do. Two combine any of the following schools (BW/Indy, Riverside/Stonebridge) all would be equal in size to the 6A schools and would crush them including Robinson.

So the better education and the better athletics aren’t worth it?

Both of those conclusions are questionable. And no, $100K in four years to play at a lower D1 or D3 school is not worth it, can do that for free at public. Very few of the PVI kids will go to a top 25 D1 school.

I think 1 kid is going to Michigan. The rest are 1 x D2 and 2 x D3 schools. But 2 of them are going to CNU/D3, which is supposed to have a good program for D3.

Hey you are right, Robinson/Madison the two favorites to win states are great programs this year. Didn't lose a game! Crushing it!

Oh wait didn't Robo lose to Indy this year? I know its winter league and all but they are such a great program they should have been able to take them easily, I mean they are a lower division. The best part was watching the Robinson coach having an aneurysm post game. (Pssst- he knew even of you don't)
Oh wait didn't Madison lose to Riverside this year? I know it was the first game and all but you would expect better specifically when the Riverside best player at FoGo was out.
Oh wait didn't Madison lose to Atlee this year? I mean they are JUST a class 4 team and not even a lowly 5. So low, like two tiers down.

And there are currently 3 (or more) public school kids in the 2025 class committed to CNU from Riverside, Madison and Atlee without a 100K debt (yet! LOL).
