Caused, not contributed |
I mean, I don’t think anyone’s laughing? Other than Allen’s supporters. |
Why shouldn't Allen have to take some responsibility for the massive crime spree?! After all, for years he benefited politically from all his virtue signaling and "criminal reform" stunts that got us into this mess. |
Do you mean Jordi? Obviously you know her well. When did people stoop insulting wives? Yeah, she runs a small non-profit. It does some good. She could 100% make 120K doing something else instead. That’s like GS13 money. The idea that her non-profit work is driven by money is insane. I don’t disagree that most small nonprofits aren’t the most efficient use of money, but spending 30% of its income on grants & programming isn’t that unusual for a tiny nonprofit and certainly isn’t evidence of corruption or fraud. |
definitely, knowingly and selfishly |
Look at that impact! That’s at least $12.99 worth of books that cost DC almost $1 million of which half a mil in salaries! That’s totally normal |
I’d be a bit ashamed to take part in this photo op but no shame is the signature move here |
Is Allen really this tonedeaf? Politico:
Allen disputes the idea that his reforms are the cause of the crime surge, noting other cities with similar reforms saw crime fall. And he says his policy agenda has always been shaped by constituents who buttonhole him about problems large and small. “Ward 6 sent me back time and again to the Council because that’s the reputation I have,” he told me. “I’ve heard from so many residents that are just frustrated with an effort like this. They feel like, rather than being part of a solution, they’re trying to leave Ward 6 without even representation or a voice.” |
How do you like your property prices tanking, Ward 6?

It's really impressive the way our Council decided to wipe out millions of dollars of property value and then accomplished it. |
