Despite persistent allegations that the laptop contents indicated corruption by Biden, a joint investigation by two Republican Senate committees released in September 2020 did not find wrongdoing by him, nor did a Republican House Oversight committee investigation by May 2023.

If you have ever had to take security training for a clearance, one of the first things they tell you is that sensitive documents must be stored so as to be restricted from anyone without a need to know authorization. She is just reporting that some rogue MAGA FBI agents are butt hurt because they can’t see and leak whatever documents these are.

Unlike PP, I understand the methods needed to secure documents and Capitol Hill has plenty of measures to secure documents, which come in daily. The issue at hand is that the FBI used the "protect sources and methods" excuse, which doesn't apply to the oversight Congress has been granted in the Constitution. As for butt hurt MAGA FBI agents, please cite the source of this claim... I'll wait.

OMG anything that gets to these Republicans in Congress will leak. That’s exactly how the reopening into the HER EMAILS investigation got out. Comey didn’t announce it, he submitted the required documentation to Congress.

House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) today issued the following statements after their discussion with FBI Director Christopher Wray about producing to Congress the unclassified, FBI-generated record alleging a criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national.

“While the FBI has apparently leaked classified information to the news media in recent weeks, jeopardizing its own human sources, it continues to treat Congress like second class citizens by refusing to provide a specific unclassified record. Director Wray confirmed what my whistleblowers have told me pursuant to legally protected disclosures: the FBI-generated document is real, but the bureau has yet to provide it to Congress in defiance of a legitimate congressional subpoena. This failure comes with consequences,” Grassley said.

“Today, FBI Director Wray confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-Vice President Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national. However, Director Wray did not commit to producing the documents subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee. Unclassified doesn’t mean it’s not sensitive, privileged, proprietary, PII, PHI, or some other category of controlled unclassified information that is restricted by need to know. The FBI doesn’t share its files, even if they are unclassified.
